Sunflower and Daisy Rooms

3-5 years

While our Sunflower and Daisy rooms gently prepare children for the next step into school, it remains rooted in the joy of play. Children are encouraged to explore, experiment, and build on their skills through repetition, creativity, and meaningful experiences that spark curiosity and confidence.

Children move into our Sunflower and Daisy rooms in either January or September, depending on when they turn three. Those with birthdays between September and December transition in January, while those born between January and August move up in the September, with summer visits arranged to support the transition and next steps.

Transitions are planned around each child’s individual needs. Our practitioners observe and interact closely with the children, working in partnership with parents to tailor experiences that support their development and next steps in learning.
